Calls for projects

For whom? Any organizer of a scientific event related to oncology or cancer research.

When? All year, applying for CLARA support no later than three months before the event.

What? Financial sponsorship or logistical support for organizing thematic meetings, scientific conferences
and public events in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
For events outside Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, sponsorship is possible in the form of mobility grants awarded to young research scientists working within CLARA’s scope and accepted for oral presentations.

What kind of assistance?
Management support: communication, Web registration management, logistics, etc.
Sponsorship: up to €2,000

 

For whom? PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, visiting scientists and permanent researchers who have worked for less than five years for a research institution in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

When? All year, applying for CLARA support no later than three months before travel.

What? Support for transportation, accommodations and meals for regional, national and international mobility for cancer research projects.

What kind of assistance? Grant, up to €2,500 (depending on specific conditions)

1 to 3 weeks – Longer, on request

 

For whom? Consortia bringing together one or more academic and/or clinical teams in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Businesses and academic and clinical researchers outside Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes can participate in consortia without receiving funding or being coordinators.

When? Two calls for projects a year.

What? Any cancer research project involving translational research, human and social sciences or public health.

For whom? Consortia bringing together academic and/or clinical teams in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Businesses and academic and clinical researchers outside Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes can participate in consortia without receiving funding or being coordinators.

What? Any cancer research project bringing together several Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes teams around a
unifying research topic, specific to the regional context and/or likely to be extended nationally.

What kind of assistance? Grant, from 100,000 to €450,000 (depending on specific conditions)

Project duration? 24 to 48 months

 

For whom? Consortia bringing together one or more clinical teams in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
Coordinators must not have already secured PHRC-N, PHRC-K or PHRC-I funding.

When? One call for projects a year.

What?
Any clinical cancer research project assessing the safety, tolerance or
feasibility of using health technologies in humans (for example, phase I,
I/II, and IV studies) or measuring the effectiveness of health technologies.
Project results will make it possible to directly modify patient care.

What kind of assistance?
Grant, about €225,000 (depending on specific conditions) – Personalized support

 

For whom? Public-private partnership consortium, involving at least one company and one public partner (healthcare, research and higher education institution) in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Only regional public partners are eligible for funding.

When? One call for projects a year.

What? Funding of R&D projects promoting knowledge and technology transfer between academic and industrial partners in the field of cancer. Funded projects set out to validate the proof of concept for preclinical or early clinical tools, services and products for the health and well-being of patients. This can involve prevention, diagnosis, therapy or improvement of the quality of life of patients.

What kind of assistance?
Grant of €250,000 to €350,000 (only allocable to academic partners) – Expert support – Project duration? 24 to 36 months
