SUMMARY:Workshop Tumour Targeting\, Imaging\, Radiotherapies
DESCRIPTION:The "Tumour Targeting\, Imaging\, Radiotherapies” network of
the Cancéropôle Grand-Ouest organizes its nineteenth international works
hop which will take place from the 23rd to 26th of September 2026 in Saint
-Jacut de la Mer\, West of France.\n\nThis workshop will confront the poi
nts of view and issues of various research fields such as Chemistry\, Biol
 ogy\, Physics\, Medicine\, Computer science\, involved in the development
of molecular and external beam radiotherapies in Oncology.\n\nThe 2026 edi
tion will highlight two key areas of development in tumour targeting\, ima
ging and radiotherapies\, Theranostics and Digital twins\, which offer nu
merous opportunities for innovation. Other cutting-edge research areas wil
l also be covered\, including the development of antibody-drug conjugates\
, alpha radiation dosimetry and the side effects of radiation.\n\nInvited
speakers:\nMark Bartholomä\, Senior Researcher\, Department of Nuclear Me
 dicine\, Saarland University-Medical Center\, Homburg\, Germany.\nLara Cav

  Professor\, LTSI\, Inserm\, University of Rennes\, Rennes\, France.\n\nTh
is workshop promotes scientific exchange between established researchers a
nd early-career researchers\, particularly PhD students and postdoctoral r
esearchers\, and offers the latter valuable opportunities to present their
work.\n\nAwards:\n30 travel grant awards are available for the young sele
cted researchers (PhD students and post-doctoral scientists). Each award c
onsists of free registration to the workshop\, accommodation and contribut
ion to travel expenses (up to 250€). The grants will be only available f
or PhD students / post-docs with accepted abstracts for oral presentations
.\n\nAbstract submission:\nYoung researchers are asked to submit an abstra
ct presenting their current research projects and results on the developme
nt of molecular and external beam radiotherapies in Oncology\, A template
