We invite eligible EACR members to apply for one of 30 complimentary places at our inaugural annual ‘Women in Leadership’ workshop in Rotterdam in June 2024.
Applications are open to EACR women members in their first independent position as a PI.
The workshop will empower women in cancer research to excel as leaders by enhancing their skills and confidence to succeed in the context of a male-dominated scientific environment. The programme will include an informal TED-style talk, a panel discussion, an interactive debate on relevant leadership topics, and role-playing typical challenging scenarios with professional actors.
Because challenges like caring commitments and career breaks are already addressed in other forums, this workshop focuses specifically on honing leadership abilities in order to thrive at the top.
